Train Station Names Loyal Cat As Its New Senior Pest Control Manager

At just 9 months old, Felix the cat’s search for her forever home finally came to a close.

This precious cat found shelter at TransPennine Express’s Huddersfield train station in West Yorkshire.

Very early on, she began patrolling the station’s platforms, assuming pest control duties. Station workers and train riders alike grew to completely adore little Felix. She was even gifted her own special cat door, so she could venture in and out of the train station offices at her own discretion.

In time, she developed quite the social media following, with a Facebook page boasting over 70,000 likes.

After five diligent years of thorough service, the train station finally rewarded this hardworking cat with a beautiful honor. She was promoted to Senior Pest Controller at TransPennine Express. Her promotion came complete with her own bright new traffic vest and a spiffy new name tag.

This loyal cat is certainly doing her part to keep the train station pest-free.
