According to a study done on moisturizers like Eucerin Original Moisturizing Cream, Dermabase, and Dermovan, they could significantly increase the risk for skin cancer.

Treatment of the irradiated mice with Eucerin, Dermovan, Vaniceream, or Dermabase,  over the course of 17 weeks increased the number of tumors by staggering 69%.  Frequent application of each product led to more skin tumors and faster tumor growth, states study leader Allan H. Conney, PhD.
