If you didn’t miss geography class in school, then perhaps you remember that Denmark and Sweden are separated by a narrow strip of water — the Øresund strait. Of course, on the map it may look narrow, in reality it’s 16 kilometres wide. In the past, the Danes and the Swedes traversed this distance by using ferries, but the journey took a long time. The decision was taken to build a bridge — one which is truly unique.
Once again, we’ve been convinced that architects are truly geniuses!
