Cop Forgets His Dashcam Is Recording When He Finds This Driver On The Side Of The Road…

Intense dashcam footage caught the moment a Pennsylvania police officer resuscitated a driver who overdosed behind the wheel, and it’s certainly chilling to watch.

The video shows as Officer Stephen Panormios pulls up to a red car stopped on the side of the road. He then walks up to it and pulls out the unresponsive driver. Officer Panormios lays the man down on the ground and uses an automated external defibrillator to revive him along with chest compressions.

Before paramedics arrive, another officer and a volunteer firefighter also show up to the terrifying scene.

Such an incident has been caught by officer dashcams across the country, including the Iowa State Trooper who saved a father suffering a heart attack while driving on the highway with his son.

This Pennsylvania police department sent the footage to WPXI reporter Jennifer Tomazic hoping that the public would get a close glimpse of an officer’s life on duty.

“I just think it’s important to emphasize what officers face on a daily basis,” Ohio Township Police Chief Norbert Micklos told the news station. “This isn’t something that just happens once in a lifetime. This is the things that go on every day.”

Watch below and please SHARE to commend this officer on a job well done!
