It feels like every once in a while, there’s a new “super food” that comes into the spotlight and next thing you know, that food is flying off the store shelves (I’m looking at you, kale!). But to the surprise of many, there’s a humble super food that’s often overlooked yet it’s probably already sitting in your pantry! And that super food is… turmeric! The health benefits of turmeric have been widely known in India throughout its history but it’s only recently becoming acknowledged in western medicine. Studies show that having some turmeric each day can help you with the following:
